Birth of a Dreamer September 25, 2008

Hollow bones hurry flight
As empty heads fill with light
And dreamers cast shadows with wounds
Fantasies grow fatter
As they sit atop ladders
Minds climb to the height of the moon
Illusions mature
As romance does stir
And failing falls fast into tombs
Hope begets wonder
As dreams crack like thunder
Hunger for sight fills the womb
