theres a note in my head, a humming, a salutation of simple swaying
a coat on my body, warm and laying heavy to my sides
it hides dull pains, some in my body, some in my spirit
its only heavy when it rains, and sometimes I take it off, on dry days

Interesting poem, a sensual feeling to it. Good job!
I loved this! Attacked my senses – glad to see you’re back :)
I get a sense of drawing in, protecting yourself, needing comfort, take the chill out, removing coat is taking tiny steps, venturing out cautiously, holding things close to the chest. Sort of like you’re needing a blanket of love wrapped around you about now. Got a lot out of this one, Jason..:)
Don’t mean to come across as Madam Oracle..:) Hope all is going well with busy you and I’m glad to see you’ve returned. Missed you, mon!
I wish I could take off my coat.
