Sing to me sweet New Year, show your sultry ways.
I chime away your minutes, while you chime away my days.
Kiss me to your neighbor; show me simple joys,
For I’m in great need,
Of your good deeds,
Another night of Yule tide noise.

A nice read at the start of the new year.
Great rythm and movement. Well chosen words, inspiring.
“I chime away your minutes, while you chime away my days”
That’s beautiful. When it turned midnight on 31st Dec/1st Jan my husband said “wow…it’s nearly 2010…that’s like THE FUTURE!”
