Joy to a world
Full of children and storms
A laugh lasts for days at the seams.
Sing songs that are lasting
Of playthings and passions
Let each day linger like dreams.

I love the way you ended this one:
Let each day linger like dreams
But then again I love to write about dreams, there is a freedom and creativity in them that helps me express my sentiments. Stay inspired!
I am reminded of children at play on a playground. How quickly we forget those days or want them back. Your poem was everything it should be. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for visiting my site today and leaving such nice comments.
Have a nice day.

Wonderful write!
If only every child in the world could feel this way.
Lovely and lyrical…makes me want to fly.
Thanks kindly for stopping by. I’ve added you to my Blogroll. I love your words.
Charmingly nostalgic, for me. I’ve never given up being a child. hee

I’m all about the last line of this poem. Love it.
