I walked dwindleday
Through murk and rain
There the man,
I’d searched in vain
He soon sankdeep
In fields of germ
For we would quickly
Come to term
My knees groundfell,
Brow soaked through
Moist dirt, fertile earth,
There a new man grew

I like the metaphor used, reminds me of my “seed” poetry series.
“‘Tis when I’m almost destroyed that I am about to grow.” Read that from somewhere and inspired me to write my seed series.

I noticed your style of combining words and I find it quite brave and sincere. I particularly like “groundfell” because it reflects the emotion of the action so aptly.
